Installation Partner Certification - Now Forming

Guide, Don't Drive™ was built to scale as a network, not a bottleneck.

GDD is a doctrine, not a personality. It can be installed by more than one person - if that person has been certified to the same standard LLI holds itself to. We are certifying our first cohort of Installation Partners now.

THE PROBLEM THIS SOLVES

Every installation LLI completes still needs a steward once the engagement ends.

Coaches and consultants ask to deliver GDD under their own practice. There has been no certified path for that - until now.

Every organization that installs GDD needs an internal steward who can run the weekly cadence and hold the standard. That steward needs to be certified.

A methodology that only one company can deliver scales as a bottleneck. The network model is how it scales correctly.

Guide, Don't Drive was built as a doctrine. It is installable by more than Steve - if the installer has been evaluated to the same standard.

Installation Partner Certification is how the network gets built - deliberately, under supervision, one certified cohort at a time.

The Certification Path

Three steps. One completion standard.

Certification is earned, not purchased. Every Installation Partner is evaluated against the same standard LLI holds itself to before delivering independently.

01

Step 1

Doctrine Mastery

The full Guide, Don't Drive™ doctrine library - identity discipline, tolerance discipline, recovery, and the behavioral engine underneath the system. Mastery is evaluated, not assumed.

02

Step 2

Supervised Installation

You install GDD under LLI supervision before you install it independently. Delivery fidelity is assessed against the completion standard LLI holds for its own engagements.

03

Step 3

Certified Status and Annual Continuing Education

Certification is renewed annually. Every Installation Partner stays current as the doctrine evolves - there is no such thing as a one-time certification that never expires.

LICENSED TO DELIVER

What a certified Installation Partner is licensed to deliver.

Certification authorizes you to deliver the full GDD system under your own practice or as an internal steward. You operate under the same completion standard LLI holds itself to.

  • The complete Guide, Don't Drive™ doctrine library - all modules, all phases
  • Executive / Team Installation engagements under their own practice or inside their organization
  • Monday Morning Implementation weekly reinforcement cadences
  • Drift Audit diagnostics and debrief sessions
  • GDD-aligned behavioral governance cadences
  • Ongoing stewardship inside client organizations after LLI's direct engagement ends

Annual continuing education is required to maintain certified status.

Certification is not a one-time credential. Every Installation Partner renews annually through continuing education that keeps them current as the GDD doctrine evolves. This is not optional - it is the condition of certified status. The annual renewal requirement is priced separately from initial certification.

Built For

Who this certification is for.

Built For

  • Executive coaches and consultants who want a system - not just a framework - to install inside client organizations
  • Leadership development firms looking to add a certified, proprietary methodology to their practice
  • Internal L&D leaders who want to become their organization's certified steward of the GDD system
  • Practitioners who already operate from the belief that behavior - not awareness - is the real unit of change

Not For

  • Coaches or consultants looking to blend GDD with other methodologies - certification requires delivery fidelity
  • Practitioners who want the credential without going through supervised installation
  • Organizations looking to license the content without a certified operator responsible for delivery
  • Anyone who wants to adapt, modify, or rebrand the GDD doctrine for their own system
LICENSED GUIDES

A small cohort, by design.

A Licensed Guide holds something distinct from Installation Partner certification. They are authorized to deliver specific GDD modules, run the Monday Morning Implementation cadence, and hold the standard inside an active installation - on behalf of the LLI network. The role is operational and delivery-focused, not advisory.

The number of Licensed Guides is intentionally small. This is not a scale play - it is a standard play. Every guide who holds the designation has been through the same path, evaluated against the same standard, and is accountable to maintaining that standard annually. A large directory of loosely credentialed practitioners would undermine what the designation means. We are building a small, high-standard cohort first.

What a Licensed Guide is authorized to deliver

  • Monday Morning Implementation cadences inside active GDD installations
  • Doctrine reinforcement sessions - all six steps of the behavioral engine
  • Drift Audit debrief sessions with leadership teams
  • Weekly behavioral governance cadences inside client organizations
  • Standard-hold conversations and accountability check-ins
  • Onboarding sessions for leaders joining an organization where GDD is already installed

What a Licensed Guide does not do

  • Redesign or adapt the GDD doctrine for their own system
  • Deliver GDD modules they have not been specifically evaluated on
  • Co-brand or repackage GDD content under another methodology
  • Claim Installation Partner status without completing the separate certification path

The path to becoming a Licensed Guide

The path is staged and evidence-gated. Candidates do not advance by completing a module - they advance by demonstrating the standard. Each stage below is required. There are no shortcuts and no stage is optional.

01

Application and Selection

Candidates apply. Not every applicant is accepted. Selection is based on fit with the GDD standard, delivery context, and the capacity to hold the standard independently. This is not an open enrollment.

02

Doctrine Immersion

The full GDD doctrine library - identity discipline, tolerance discipline, recovery, and the six-step behavioral engine. Evaluation is required before advancing. Familiarity is not sufficient.

03

Observed Delivery

Candidates deliver GDD sessions under direct LLI observation. Delivery is assessed against the completion standard LLI holds for its own engagements. A supervised delivery that does not meet the standard does not advance.

04

Licensed Status

Certification is granted once the candidate has demonstrated doctrine mastery, delivery fidelity, and adherence to the standard. The credential is specific to the GDD modules and cadences the guide has been evaluated to deliver.

05

Annual Maintenance

Licensed status requires annual renewal through continuing education and documented adherence to the standard. This is not optional. A guide who does not complete annual renewal is no longer a Licensed Guide.

Licensed status must be maintained. It can also be lost.

Annual CE Required

Every Licensed Guide completes annual continuing education tied to GDD doctrine updates. Missing the renewal cycle results in inactive status.

Adherence to Standard

Licensed Guides are held to delivery fidelity. Adapting, blending, or misrepresenting the GDD doctrine in delivery is a violation of the standard.

Certification Can Be Revoked

Licensed status is not permanent. Failure to maintain annual renewal or breach of the delivery standard results in revocation. There is no grace period for a standard that's being actively violated.

The directory

A public directory of Licensed Guides will be published once the founding cohort completes certification. It will list certified practitioners by region and delivery scope.

Doctrine

A doctrine that can only be delivered by one person isn't a system. It's a speaker.

Installation Partner Certification is the process by which GDD becomes installable by a network that holds the same standard. Certification without supervised evaluation is just a certificate.

The founding cohort is now forming.

Installation Partner Certification is $20,000-$25,000 plus annual continuing education. Not every applicant will be accepted into the first cohort - selection is based on fit, not just readiness.
